Position Overview
The Assistant Office Manager will be a key team member that will be responsible for overseeing the HR/recruiting functions of the Company and act as a central resource to the various business locations. This individual will be responsible for providing administrative support to company management, handle HR responsibilities, and report directly to senior management and ownership.
Office Administrative Responsibilities Include:
- Act as a central resource to handle and support operations and business locations with their administrative or compliance needs.
- Develop and implement systems to streamline office processes, including record-keeping, file management, and office supply ordering
- Plan and coordinate office events and meetings, including employee onboarding, trainings, and company celebrations
- Manage relationships with vendors and service providers to ensure company needs are met.
- Support company managers or upper management in various ad hoc projects
- Provide administrative support to upper management, including scheduling appointments, managing calendars, reviewing emails, and preparing reports
HR Responsibilities Include:
- Oversee the recruitment and hiring process, including developing job descriptions, screening resumes, and conducting interviews. Support operations managers as required
- Oversee the HR Admin with employee onboarding, orientation, and training programs
- Work with existing HR resources and partners to develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure operations are complying with federal and state regulations
- Oversee employee performance management and provide coaching and counseling to employees as needed
- Manage employee benefits & compensation programs, including health insurance and PTO
- Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with record-keeping requirements
- Manage employee relations and provide guidance and support to employees regarding employment-related issues
