We are seeking a Purchasing Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in procurement, inventory management, and supply chain management. The Purchasing Agent will be responsible for managing the procurement process, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of goods. The successful candidate will be able to effectively source materials, manage inventory levels, and maintain a strong supply chain. Additionally, proficiency in Oracle EBS or similar supply chain management software is highly desirable.
Responsibilities:
- Source and purchase materials and supplies in compliance with company policies and budget requirements
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and competitive pricing
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to ensure favorable terms
- Manage inventory levels and optimize inventory control to minimize waste and excess stock
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations and minimize supply chain disruptions
- Implement and maintain efficient and cost-effective supply chain management processes
- Utilize e-commerce platforms and other digital tools to streamline the procurement process
- Analyze and report on procurement costs, inventory levels, and supply chain performance
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field
- Proven experience in procurement and supply chain management
- Strong understanding of inventory management and control
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with Oracle EBS or similar supply chain management software
- Knowledge of e-commerce platforms and their applications in procurement
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Experience with contract management and negotiation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with materials management and sourcing
- Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations
- Strong commitment to quality and customer satisfaction

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
