Job Title: Information Service Coordinator
Location: Greater Longview United Way Office (Longview, TX)
Job Summary:
The Information Service Coordinator is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Greater Longview United Way. This role serves as the primary point of contact for individuals seeking information and referrals to local health and human service programs. The coordinator maintains an up-to-date database of community resources and provides guidance to callers based on their needs.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receive and respond to incoming calls, emails, and in-person inquiries from individuals seeking assistance or information about available resources.
- Take calls and refer callers to appropriate partners and agencies when they call the INFOLine of Gregg County.
- Enter information into the system regarding callers, referrals, and updates to databases as needed.
- Support the Director of Development with entering and processing pledges in the donation tracking software.
- Update and distribute via email the weekly "funds available" list to community partners and leaders.
- Check mail daily and assist with counting and processing of pledges and donations.
- Assist with all grant applications and reports from nonprofit partners.
- Assist with fundraising activities.
- Represent the Greater Longview United Way at community events and outreach activities as needed.
- Attend community events as needed, help set up, and pick up/drop off materials.
- Organize lunches for board meetings and allocation meetings.
- Organize applications and prepare binders for committees.
- Place and order office supplies as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and active listening abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.)
- Knowledge of local community resources and social service programs.

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
