We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Project Manager to join our dynamic team in the medical device sales department. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing a critical government contract in Kentucky, ensuring the successful execution of Oxygen, DME and Access delivery to Veterans. This role requires strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills to manage project timelines, coordinate with stakeholders, and maintain compliance with government regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- -Project Management:
- Assist in planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.
Sales Support:
- Work closely with the sales team to understand customer needs and ensure product delivery meets contractual obligations.
- Assist in the preparation of sales proposals, presentations, and contract negotiations.
Compliance and Documentation:
- Ensure all project documentation is complete, current, and stored appropriately.
- Maintain compliance with government regulations and internal policies.
- Prepare and deliver project reports, proposals, and required documentation to senior management and stakeholders.
Risk Management:
- Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful project completion.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
Experience:
- 1-3 years of project management experience, preferably in the medical device or healthcare industry.
- Experience with government contracts and sales is highly desirable.
Skills:
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Trello, Asana) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Certifications:
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent is a plus.
