Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Accounting Clerk. As an Accounting Clerk, you will play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the overall financial operations of our company. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth and development.
Duties:
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Prepare and process invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports
- Perform account analysis and general ledger reconciliation
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Assist with payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements
- Support the preparation of financial reports and statements
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial information
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, , , , and Paychex
- Stay updated on relevant tax laws and regulations
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Accounting Clerk or similar role
- Strong understanding of financial concepts and principles
- Proficiency in using accounting software such as QuickBooks,
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Ability to analyze financial data and perform account reconciliations
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
