The Hotel Engineer will be primarily responsible for: responding to all guest requests, repairs in guest rooms (wallpaper, paint, plumbing, electrical), front of the house areas, pool care (cleaning, reading and adding chemicals) and assisting with electrical set-ups in all meeting spaces. Additional responsibilities may include but are not limited to performing repairs on mechanical, electrical, kitchen, and laundry equipment, requiring some skills and experience in these areas. Excellent service skills, as well as communication skills are required. Pay is based on experience.
Job requirements:
* Possess basic trouble shooting skills;
* Should be able to read blue prints & schematics;
* Possess a basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, and/or carpentry applications;
* Availability to work second shift (swing) and overnight shifts, as well as weekends & holidays;
* Prior hotel engineering experience is preferred.
