Position Summary
The role of the Global Assistant Controller is crucial in upholding financial discipline and transparency across different locations while aiding the organization's strategic growth and operational efficiency. This position is essential for ensuring the financial integrity and compliance of a multinational corporation's financial operations.
What You Will Do:
The Global Assistant Controller will offer extensive support to the Controller in all financial reporting, budgeting, accounting, audit, and tax functions. This is a great opportunity for an entrepreneurial, highly driven person with a strong accounting background to join the team.
· Global Financial Reporting and Compliance - Oversee and assist in preparing and consolidating financial statements for multiple entities across different countries, ensuring compliance with local GAAP and regulatory requirements.
· Manage intercompany transactions and reconcile intercompany accounts to ensure accuracy in the consolidation of financial results from subsidiaries and joint ventures.
· Assist in preparing global budgets and financial forecasts, monitoring budget variances, and providing analysis to support budgetary decisions.
· Collaborate with tax departments and external advisors to ensure compliance with global tax regulations and support tax planning initiatives and strategies to optimize tax efficiencies.
· Work with senior management to develop and execute global financial strategies and long-term financial plans aligned with business objectives.
· Manage relationships with external auditors, financial institutions, tax authorities, and other stakeholders as needed for financial transactions and reporting.
- Supervise and mentor a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance, training, and support.
What You’ll Need:
· Bachelor’s degree in accounting
· Certified Public Accountant
· 5-7 years of experience as an accountant with a for-profit corporation and/or public accounting firm
· Working knowledge of GAAP accounting and regulatory requirements
· Highly organized with close attention to detail
· Critical thinker and problem solver; looks for ways to improve processes and automate where possible
· Excellent communication and leadership skills
· Proficiency in ERP systems (JDE preferred)
· Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
· Experience with Power Bi/ Sisense experience a plus

Pay: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
