Marin Mazda is currently looking for an experienced Financial Services Manager to join our growing team.

Job Purpose
The Financial Services Manager is responsible for all the sales contracts, financing of deals, sales and aftermarket products, such as extended warranty, insurance, accessories, etc. The individual in this position must be knowledgeable in the areas of vehicle leasing and financing; as well as the completion of the appropriate contracts.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional customer experience on all interactions by exercising excellent communication skills and understanding customer needs and expectations.
- Learn and maintain solid product knowledge on manufacturer-specific vehicles and manufacturer-specific rebate, finance and incentive programs
- Maintain current knowledge of third-party financing options and be able to present such options to customers.
- Ensure that all work performed is thorough, accurate and completed in a timely fashion. This includes the preparation of all documentation, contracts etc. related to the sale/lease of vehicles, accessories and warranties.
- Maintain all reports and records as may be required.
- Keep customers updated by phone as to the progress of their vehicle’s delivery.
- Establish and maintain strong and professional working relationships with finance companies, banks, manufacture financing Centre and suppliers.
- Establish and maintain a cooperative and professional relationship with sales management and staff.
- Ensure that all sale documents and registration are completed accurately and in full compliance with store policies and DMV California.
- Promote and sell products to protect customer investment, such as vehicle warranties, protection packages and insurance.
Requirements:
- 2-3 years of Financial Services Management or Sales experience within the automotive industry an asset.
- Outgoing and a positive attitude with strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Excellent time-management and organizational skills.
- Ability and willingness to be flexible under changing conditions.
- Proficiency in influencing, negotiating and problem-solving.
- Ability to work well under pressure, multi-task and prioritize to meet deadlines/targets.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must have valid sales license.
- Experience with CDK Dealership Management Systems considered an asset.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of leasing and financing of vehicles.
- Valid Driver’s Licence.
- Ability to work flexible hours and weekends.
