A fashion wholesale brand with offices in Alhambra, CA, is looking for a PRODUCTION COORDINATOR to assist in all operational aspects of a wholesale fashion brand. This role coordinates tasks such as understanding and on-ramping new design collections, ensuring samples and stock pieces arrive on time, coordinating production buys and preparation, inventory control, running automated PO follow-up processes, and assisting the sales team in shipping and invoicing for orders daily.
Our ideal candidate currently has experience in general wholesale settings, understands the process of purchase orders, pick tickets, invoicing, and shipping. The candidate will also have knowledge of ERP and EDI systems used to manage our sales process. We are also looking for someone who is extremely organized, persistent, and well focused. The candidate must also be highly computer literate. Moderate to advanced skills with Microsoft Excel is highly desirable.

- Customer service experience is a must.
- Telemarketing experience is a plus, though you will not be cold calling or selling.
- Knowledge of any wholesale industry is a plus.
- Knowledge of wholesale order fulfillment workflow is a must.
- Knowledge of order fulfillment to department stores is a must.
- Passion for fashion or the fashion industry is also a big plus.
- Tradeshow experience is a big plus! Occasional travel may be required.
- Spanish or Chinese fluency will be helpful.
Responsibilities
- Orders: Establish and automate PO follow-up emails for customers needing to submit approval / payment to ship orders.
- Orders: Review, analyze, understand open and delinquent orders and formulate plan for conversion and team involvement.
- Orders: Prepare shipment labels and invoicing, notify customers.
- Orders: Check and download orders from online wholesale platforms. Publish to in-house ERP system.
- Orders: Receive RA returns and issue / email credit memos to customers.
- Products: Track new collections, anticipate salesman samples.
- Products: Assist General Manager in calculating wholesale prices. Upload product information to ERP system and push to online sales platforms. Prepare and upload linesheets.
- Products: Prepare salesman samples, labeling, distribution to sales team.
- Production: Gather sales figures and organize BUY file for production. Create WIP quantities.
- Production: Track production of goods, logistics, and receipt of goods into system (convert WIP to Stock)
- Production: Prepare sold-out reports and distribute to sales representatives.
- Production: Work with sales agents to initiate, track, and delivery special department store orders.
- Inventory: Track inventory levels and engage with close-out / overstock buyers. Work with sales agents to sell overstock goods, including creating linesheets of overstock.
- Inventory: Create, host, and advertise sample sales to liquidate samples.
- Inventory: Track stock for current-season shipping, and inform sales team about slow-moving merchandise.
- Inventory / E-commerce: Work with CSRs to identify stock for ecommerce sales.
Requirements
- Proven work experience as a Sales support specialist or Sales support associate
- Hands on experience with ERP and CRM systems
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite, particularly MS Excel
- In-depth understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
- Excellent communication skills
- Analytical and multitasking skills
- BS degree in Marketing or associates degree in relevant field a plus
