We are hiring a deli clerk who has extensive experience slicing meat in an efficient and accurate manner. This is a year round position and you must be able to start at 9 am. Other duties include making subs, waiting on customers, answering phones, taking orders, filling coolers, slicing breads, cleaning and other various tasks. This is a part time position, 3 - 5 days a week starting at 9 am-5pm occasional days Tuesday-Saturday. Must be available during the summer and holidays.
Qualifications:
-Extensive meat slicing experience
- Basic math skills for cash handling, simple fractions and reading an analog clock
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is needed
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact with customers in a friendly and helpful manner
- Ability to lift 50 LBs, stand for long periods of time, be able to bend, squat, lift, clean things at floor level and handle a hot environment.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
