This role requires attention to detail, outstanding communication skills, and the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously. The Catering Operations Manager holds duties related to the successful execution and coordination of events of all sizes.
This position reports to the Senior Director of Off-Premise and will work closely with Area Directors, General Managers, Sales Managers, and Catering Specialists within their assigned areas multiple locations (current locations listed in this job description)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities. Other duties may be assigned.
* Set up and maintain all catering assets for shared use.
* Identify and create systems for shared company vehicles.
* Responsible for creating and ensuring all brand standards are met and that costs are in line. Act as a key event lead as needed.
* Collaborate with Area Catering Sales Manager, General Managers, Sales Managers, Catering Specialists and other staff members to ensure that equipment is sourced and identified for upcoming events and determine event schedules and other logistics. In addition, will work as a coach to support area stores in executing Full-Service events and act as a liaison for training hourly staff on all serving stations setup, cooking, and guest flow.
* Assist in creating equipment guidelines; operate all department equipment as necessary and secure repairs as needed.
* Work with locations to ensure all inventories are maintained and properly stored and all guidelines are enforced.
* Ensure company health, safety, and hygiene policies are adhered to when carrying out job operations.
* Maintain accurate records of financial accounts, transactions, and other relevant administrative information as it applies to company assets.
* Maintain records and prepare event planning, ordering, and billing reports.
* Assist with permitting as requested.
* Participate in event meetings as needed and support stores with sourcing equipment for full-service offsite events.
* Oversee daily logistics, ensuring events are executed as planned
* Manage dedicated space and create and maintain weekly updates
* Support the Off-Premise Director to identify new equipment from sourcing, testing, and training to final deployment
* Lead training for area and ongoing growth

Education & Experience
* High School diploma
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred
* 2+ year’s restaurant operations experience
* 2+ year’s catering experience
* 2+ year’s event planning preferred
* Training experience preferred
* Computer proficiency and knowledge of office software
* Experience with inventory controls and managing staff
* Self-managed and able to effectively work in a home, restaurant, or virtual based environment
* Work a variable and flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays
* Travel: Local driving in assigned areas for events, prospecting, and meetings. The ideal candidate is centrally located, as relocation allowance is not provided. Current territory includes:
* Downtown Dallas
* Park Cities/Uptown
* North Irving
* Addison
* Plano and Frisco
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $65,000.00 per year
