JOB DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for performing investment grade lighting audits and managing installation of lighting projects at customer facilities across the US. Collect all information pertaining to existing lighting conditions and control systems. Collaborates with sales and development team in specifying a retrofit solution based on information collected. Implement executed solutions ensuring quality installment and customer service to our clients. Capture photo documentation of work completion. Employee may be required to travel to multiple stops per day and can be exposed to outdoor weather conditions.
- Manage all aspects of turnkey lighting retrofit projects for existing medium to large Hospitals, Warehouses, Schools etc.
- Perform site assessment identifying locations, existing fixture types, lamp types, quantities, mounting positions, and existing wall switch/control features, ensuring completeness of audit and client’s expectations.
- Once approved, collaborate with team members to ensure understanding of design and specification. Coordinate with stakeholders to start installation within timeline.
- Oversee installations processes, coordinating with all project stakeholders to guarantee a professional quality service forecasting and diverting any potential change orders that can affect the deadline, and updating project documents throughout the length of the project.
- Manage periodic technical and non-technical challenges that arise throughout the course of a project.
- Communicate and coordinate regularly with all stakeholders including but not limited to property managers, building owners, building engineers and staff, subcontractors, manufacturers, and vendors.
- Create weekly progress reports. Schedule and manage subcontractors and maintain project schedules and owner and sub relationships onsite; track and report on project progress
- Attend project meetings with owners and subcontractors related to project installation
- Coordinate rebate and incentives close out.
Skills & Experience Requirements:
- Experience with lighting design-build/turnkey project design and development. Preferred
- Knowledge of lighting equipment, lighting controls, retrofit principles, and other energy-efficient measures. Preferred
- Experience coordinating with manufacturers, vendors, and/or contractors. Required
- Consistently proactive and demonstrates actions towards achieving the team objectives. Required
- Presents information and successfully conveys a point of view in a professional manner. Required
- Demonstrates commitment to accepting new challenges and takes an active role in developing personally and professionally. Demonstrates excellent listening skills and is open minded to ideas.
- Previous project management experience. Preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or related field. Preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel. Required.
- Experience of technology applications such as Ecoinsight and Monday.com. Preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $66,835.98 - $80,490.64 per year
