The HRIS Specialist will play a crucial role in implementing, maintaining and optimizing our new system (UKG PRO and WFM).
This role involves collaborating with another HR professional to ensure the HRIS architecture is effective and aligns with our business needs. The ideal candidate will be meticulous, detail-oriented, and possess strong analytical skills to understand business processes and design the system to meet those needs, audit employee data, location setup, and user permissions.
Additionally, this role will be responsible for creating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and compliance across all processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaboration and Support:
- Work closely with Operations and HR team members to provide system support and resolve issues.
- Assist in training users on HRIS functionalities and updates.
- Provide ongoing support for HRIS-related projects and initiatives.
- Constantly be involved in pushing your own knowledge of the product forward.
HRIS Maintenance and Optimization:
- Collaborate with HR colleagues to maintain the HRIS architecture.
- Ensure the system is set up to effectively meet the business requirements.
- Identify opportunities for system enhancements and lead implementation efforts.
- Data Auditing and Integrity:
- Regularly audit employee data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Conduct audits of location setups within the HRIS to ensure proper configuration.
- Perform user permissions audits to maintain security and compliance standards.
- Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs):
- Develop and maintain comprehensive SOPs for HRIS processes and procedures.
- Ensure SOPs are up-to-date and reflect current practices.
- Train HR staff on SOPs to ensure consistent application and understanding.
- Reporting and Analysis:
- Generate and analyze HRIS reports to support decision-making.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis.

SKILLS
a) Prior experience managing structure of HRIS systems and data, Kronos, UltiPro or UKG preferred.
b) Minimum 3-years working an HR environment,

KNOWLEDGE
a. Minimum education, High School Diploma or equivalent
b. SHRM-CP preferred.
c. Two -five years prior experience in HR department serving 500+ employees
d. Knowledge of HRIS UKG, Kronos, or UltiPro very desirable.
e. Knowledge of Microsoft products including Word, Excel, Outlook
