Job Title: Quality Engineer Revision Date: 5/15/2024
Overview of Job Duties: Thisis the single personresponsible for theQuality management function in a high-end, close tolerance, grinding operation. The Quality Engineer is expected to perform a range of both administrative and technical tasks. In addition, the Chief Technical Officer may assign other non-recurring tasks.
Administrative Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:
· Maintaining a list of contractual requirements
· Maintaining the “PGS Dashboard”
· Maintaining control of “Documented Information” such as procedures, work instructions, forms, and records
· Preparing the agenda, scheduling, and reporting the quarterly “Management Review Meeting”
· Conducting, analyzing, and reporting the results of the annual “Customer Satisfaction Survey”
· Assisting in procurement and maintaining business software and maintenance of computer equipment
Technical Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Performing inspection tasks as assigned by the Chief Technical Officer
· Maintaining the process for periodic calibration of inspection, measuring, and test equipment
· Coordinating, conducting, and reporting findings on periodic internal Quality Management System audits.
· Coordinating, supporting, and managing the required corrective action required by external audits
· Maintaining the process for identification, segregation, and disposition of nonconforming material
· Maintaining the processes for training of PGS’ personnel
Job Responsibilities
With minimum supervision:
· Conduct his/her activities at the highest level of responsiveness, personal integrity, and reliability
· Communicate in a professional manner with members of the PGS staff
· Maintain a satisfactory attendance and punctuality record

· Ability to create, update, proof, edit and control PGS procedures and work instructions and other documentation
· Ability to work with entire PGS staff

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
