RESPONSIBILITIES
Order processing and tracking
Follow up with customers to obtain information
Provide quotes and order sales activities with clients
Contacting clients for approvals, additional order instructions and sign offs
Maintaining a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward both internal and external customers
Provide internal support to assigned Sales Rep regarding any customer problems, complains, or requests
Track orders/trace deliveries that customers have not received to determine status of order and expected time arrival
Other projects and job duties as assigned
Responsible for initiating sales, taking orders, anticipating and meeting customer needs
Responsible for assigned product management, including selecting product vendors, purchasing, pricing, monitoring inventory, and promoting assigned products
Contact customers regarding market fluctuations and trends
Initiate inquiries, sales, and promotions for product needs to customer
Contact vendor as necessary regarding products relative to customer’s questions or concerns
Assist outside sales staff and product managers
Assist in developing and executing marketing programs, promotions, and new product research
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Assist with daily inventory counts and the reconciliation
Identify prospective customers by using business directories, following leads from existing clients, and attending trade shows and conferences.
Service existing account, obtain orders, and establish new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors.
Help customers select products to meet customers’ needs, product specifications. Adjusts content of sales presentations by studying the type of sales outlet or trade factor.
Emphasize seasonal product opportunities to new and existing customers’ and provide them with timelines for production and delivery schedule for product on order with overseas factories.
Answer customers’ questions about the prices, availability, and uses of the products they are selling.
Negotiate prices and terms of sales with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders.
Prepare sales contracts and submit orders for processing with warehouse department.
Collaborate with colleagues to exchange information, such as information on selling strategies marketing information.
Follow up with customers to make sure that they are satisfied with their purchases and to answer any questions or concerns they might have.
Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques.
Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.
REQUIREMENTS
2 – 3 years of work experience in apparel.
Qualified candidates must possess excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills and be comfortable interacting with decision makers
Candidates must have a demonstrated ability to analyze data to identify opportunities for business development
Candidates must be self-directed and have the ability to work independently
Two plus years of inside or outside B2B sales experience
Customer-centric with the desire and ability to develop relationships and solidify business partnerships
Analytical thinking skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Self-motivated
Proven experience in wholesale sales, preferably within the fashion industry
Computer knowledge – Word, Excel, Google Workplace, etc. – and data entry proficiency
Positive attitude - have a positive can-do attitude everyday
Strong sense of team building, collaboration, and interpersonal skills Must be able to prioritize and multitask
Must be able to handle physical assertion
Attention to Detail
Strong negotiation and persuasion skills, with the ability to close deals and build long-term relationships
Bilingual- English and Spanish
