Maimonides Medical Center is currently seeking an OB/GYN ACGME Fellowship Coordinator to coordinate all Maternal Fetal Medicine fellows’ educational activities for the OB/GYN department including: program accreditation and compliance, applicant recruitment, fellow appointments, program evaluations, and administrative office operations.
Specifically, you will:
- Administer the fellow recruitment process; set up interview dates, communicate with applicants, enter fellow application data in the computer, coordinate rank meetings, and organize new fellow orientation.
- In collaboration with the Program Director, establish annual policies and procedures for applicant recruitment.
- Manage information in FREIDA, ERAS, and specialty matching services (NRMP, SF Match).
- Produce program recruitment information such as web content, informational materials, and updating social media sites
- Attend and administratively support the activities of the Clinical Competency Committee (CCC), the Program Evaluation Committee (PEC), their Chairs, and the PD’s related work.
- Coordinate ACGME self-study visits and focused site visits, when applicable.
- Prepare Program Letters of Agreement (PLAs) in coordination with the GME Office with participating institutions and training sites.
- Maintain program & resident/fellow statistics as identified for the hospitals for Joint Commission (TJC) accreditation requirements.
- Establish and ensure compliance with program-specific credentialing requirements (e.g., ACLS, PALS, simulation training, specialty-specific training).
- Ensure fellow compliance with GME credentialing requirements and facilitate fellow changes in appointment from ACGME to non-ACGME clinical and/or research fellows.
We require:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience working at a healthcare institution.
- Knowledge of ACGME and Fellowship requirements is preferred.
- Understanding ACGME policies and procedures, including the Common Program Requirements and Specialty-Specific requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including Outlook and Word.
- Proficiency in New Innovations preferred.
- Proficiency in Zoom or WebEx.
- Good interpersonal and English verbal/written communication skills.
