HR Coordinator - Part Time
Job Overview:
Questech is seeking an HR Coordinator to administer and maintain our HR Systems to meet the needs of and exceed the expectations of all internal and external customers. This role will support the HR Administrative functions of the company including: Employee Relations, Recruiting, Training and Development, and Employment and Compliance. This person must effectively interface with senior management, Questech’s employees, outside employment agencies (State and Federal), and third-party employee benefits administrators / providers.
Reports to: Chief Financial Officer
Responsibilities:
- Process payroll and maintain payroll system including HR Profile.
- Administer benefits (Group Medical, Workers Compensation Insurance, Life Insurance, LTD, STD, Dental Insurance, 401K, Vacation and Sick Time), including enrollments, changes and terminations.
- Reconciles benefit statements
- Completes Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 files.
- Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
- Assist with talent acquisition and recruitment processes
- Maintain working knowledge of current state and federal requirements as pertaining to HR functions and employer compliance, including OSHA safety requirements
- Assist with employee trainings
- Assist with the preparation of the performance review process
- Provide training on HR systems as needed
- Maintain employee files in an accurate and confidential manner
- Assist with processing terminations

- Special projects and reports as assigned
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Associates Degree in Human Resources or related field and/or equivalent experience
- At least 2 years related experience required
- Experience with payroll and time sheet systems a plus
- Strong oral and written communications skills
- Proactive, creative thinker; able to work independently or with a team to produce quality results
- Ability to multi-task with excellent follow-through and task completion
- Strong data entry, communication, interpersonal, client service, project management, problem-solving, and analytical skills
Programs & Software:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- ADP Workforce experience a plus
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 24 per week
