Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance and repairs on trailers, including but not limited to brakes, suspensions, and electrical systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues using automotive diagnostics tools.
- Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts or cranes to assist with repairs or assembly.
- Use power tools and hand tools to disassemble, repair, and assemble trailer components.
- Conduct electrical repairs and installations as needed.
- Inspect trailers for safety compliance and perform routine vehicle maintenance.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and labor hours.
Skills:
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and repair various trailer components.
- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools for disassembly, repair, and assembly.
- Knowledge of electrical systems and the ability to conduct repairs and installations.
- Experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts or cranes.
- Familiarity with vehicle maintenance procedures and safety regulations.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team to complete tasks efficiently.
