Plaintiff's employment law practice seeks associate new to 3rd-year associate. Our practice is growing, and we'd like to find an independent-minded "go-getter" to help continue the growth. This is not a research position. The associate will perform substantive work and be responsible for the day to day advancement of cases. The job includes client contact, drafting complaints, discovery, and law and motion, defending depositions and any additional tasks associate wishes to take on.
The culture at the firm is collegial and supportive, and the new associate will receive as much mentorship as needed.
Prior employment law experience is a plus, but not required.
We're looking to hire ASAP. The salary will depend on experience. Benefits include annual bonus, health, dental, vision, bar dues and California Employment Lawyers Association dues.
