Saint Joseph Children’s Hospital is currently recruiting for a Behavioral and Developmental Pediatrician to service our busy clinical practice of a culturally and clinically diverse population. The incoming Behavioral and Developmental Pediatrician will work a full-time schedule and will have the opportunity to do research and teach. There are multiple practice locations for Child Developmental services including Paterson, Wayne and Rochelle Park. The practices operate 5 days per week, with rotation to all three locations each week. Call rotation is 1:3. Approximately 10-20% of time can be devoted to teaching/research.
Our Inpatient and Outpatient service treats children and young adults (birth through 21 years of age) and works with their families to diagnose and manage a full range of Developmental conditions.
Our programs, procedural, testing and counseling service includes:
- NICU follow-up
- ABA therapy and ADOS provided by our Binder Autism Center team
Our approach is multidisciplinary and tailored to each individual’s medical and developmental needs. Our team includes:
- Board-certified Behavioral and Developmental Pediatrician
- Advanced Practice Nurse
- Psychologist
- Social workers
- BCBA and ABA Therapist
- Multidisciplinary team of the Feeding and Swallowing Center
- Audiologist
