With a portfolio of technologies to address eye care issues such as presbyopia, myopia and astigmatism, the company uses creative and differentiated design approaches to develop products that will ultimately enhance practitioner and patient experiences. We are looking for a Market Manager to join our Inside Sales team. The Market Manager is responsible for sales growth within an assigned market through the effective selling of the company’s products.
Core Responsibilities:
Make outbound calls to qualify leads and convert to accounts.
Make outbound calls to nurture new and existing accounts.
Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of the company’s products and unique benefits.
Use effective selling and active listening skills to communicate the company’s products and unique benefits.
Achieve established sales targets.
Manage and record daily call activity.
Occasional weekend work may be required including travel to trade shows or very high visibility accounts, some of which may be overnight.
Participate in sales and marketing projects.
Knowledge and Skills:
Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
Expertise in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Proficiency using Salesforce.
Ability to problem solve.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
At least 2-3 years sales experience in comparable industries preferred. Experience in a medical device industry a plus.
Compensation:
Non-exempt, hourly position
$50-55K plus commission
