Position Summary
As a Team GRS Packer/Materials Handler starting at $13.50-$18/hour DOE, you will be responsible for packing and labeling contents on damage restoration job sites for transport and professional cleaning. You will be directly involved in preparing structures damaged by water, fire and mold for reconditioning by removing all non-structural materials and carefully packing and labeling those contents for the sanitary cleaning process. You will play a key role in that sanitary cleaning process off-site at our facilities before repacking materials for transport back to reconditioned job sites. Your success will be determined by your ability to communicate clearly and efficiently with Team GRS crews to provide job updates, as well as your attention to detail and ensuring contents are accurately labeled.
Primary Responsibilities
- Produce thorough documentation of contents using proprietary software (training provided)
- Prepare and label in detail the contents of each box
- Ensure photo documentation is complete and allocated to each material contents box
- Move content boxes out of damage structures and load onto trucks for transport
- Thoroughly clean and recondition materials using our sanitization process
- Assist in surveying damaged properties to see what can be saved.
- Clean and store damaged property and contents until they can be returned to the home.
- Sanitize structural features that can be saved.
- Maintain a clean and orderly job site
- Adhere to personal safety standards by wearing the appropriate protective gear and using the right equipment.
- Develop positive working relationships with fellow restoration team members and learn as much as possible from mentors and your direct leaders.

Job Requirements
- Must have clean driving record and valid drivers license
- Must be willing to participate in a pre-employment background screen
- Must be able to reliably commute or be willing to relocate to Greenville, SC
- Must be available and able to work on-site from 9:00am-5:00pm Monday-Friday and be willing to dispatch to emergency jobs with restoration teams when necessary (2x pay for hours worked outside traditional working hours)
- Must be comfortable and capable of both written and verbal communication
- Must be capable of lifting 80lbs.
