The Project Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing the successful execution of construction projects. This position requires exceptional organizational, financial management, and leadership skills to ensure projects are completed within scope, budget, and schedule while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define project scope, deliverables, and objectives.
- Develop and manage project budgets, negotiate costs, and control expenditures.
- Administer Contracting, Inc. Master Agreement, Contracts, and Subcontract Agreements.
- Establish and communicate the Master Project Schedule, overseeing its implementation and approving weekly scheduled look-a-heads.
- Manage document revisions and ensure distribution to relevant parties.
- Oversee budgeting and financial reporting.
- Manage the submittal process.
- Supervise field operations, ensuring adherence to the standard operating procedures and safety protocols.
- Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions and identify additional scope requirements.
- Review design scope changes, assess cost implications, and communicate adjustments to stakeholders.
- Enforce safety protocols and manage the Quality Assurance/Quality Control.
- Cultivate and strengthen client relationships.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to both field and office staff.
- Foster positive relationships with architects, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Uphold high standards of personal accountability and integrity.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, with a minimum of 7 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in construction project management software (ext. Procore) preferred.
- Proficiency in construction cost estimation, scheduling, purchasing, and budgeting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
- Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills.
