Clinical Solutions Kansas is a closed-door pharmacy that opened in fall 2023 and ships out 13,000 prescriptions a day. The Kansas pharmacy hours are Monday through Friday 9am to 6pm. Description:
Coordinate logistics to lead the Pharmacy Technician Team in meeting daily client demands by fulfilling prescription orders for patients on time and providing outstanding customer service.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Pharmacy Technician license in Kansas.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Prefer Certified Pharmacy Technician, CPhT.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- 1+ years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
- Ability to be lead the Pharmacy Technician Team.
- Manage the Pharmacy Technician staffing calendar.
- Comfortable with confrontation and enjoys problem solving.
- 2+ years’ experience in a leadership or management position.
- Excellent organizational skills, interpersonal skills, and is detail oriented.
- Willingness to work closely with the Pharmacist In Charge of Kansas.
- Enjoys change and is always open to trying new processes or procedures.
- Ability to work within a deadline under pressure and handle unexpected interruptions.
- Intermediate computer skills and Excel spreadsheet knowledge required.
- Ability to perform tasks accurately and efficiently when inputting information.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to organize and prioritize to maintain productivity.
- Ability to maintain composure on the phone when handling calls from customers or vendors.
- Willingness to learn and manage the timecards for payroll for the Pharmacy Technicians.

- Willingness to work closely together with Pharmacist In Charge and Clinical Solutions Corporate.
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check.
Duties include:
- Fill unit dose prescription medications.
- Continuously run the Unit Dose Packager machine.
- Review all unit-dose packaging for accuracy and errors.
- Ensure quality standards are met for all fulfillment tasks.
- Follow all applicable government regulations, including HIPAA.
- Log all daily model site packages/shipments in the shipment log.
- Assist with filling medication orders as they arrive throughout the day.
- Create a work environment where employees feel valued, appreciated.
- Manage the Pharmacy Technician staffing calendar and employee timecards for payroll.
- Verify all orders are placed in correct handbook to ensure Quality Control compliance.
- Perform machine setup, adjustment, and operation on the unit dose packager.
- Maintain the Pharmacy to ensure the area is always free from any safety hazards.
- Responsible for maintaining Quality Standards to ensure specifications and codes are met.
- Manage the Pharmacy Technician staffing calendar; including approving PTO requests, emailing HR Corporate when there are call outs, holding employees accountable if/when they are late to their shift start time, late returning from a break, and not providing advanced notice for PTO.
- Present Records of Disciplinary Action to an employee if/when there is an employee relation issue and/or a violation of the Clinical Solutions Employee Handbook.
- Train new hire employees on the Unit Dose Packager machine and all other pharmacy fulfillment daily duties.
- Complete new hire 90-Day Employee Performance Review and annual reviews.
- Coordinate with Pharmacist In Charge regarding supplies making sure they are adequately stocked and ordered in a timely manner.
- Communicate effectively with the Kansas Pharmacy Team, Pharmacist In Charge, and Clinical Solutions Corporate.
- Virtually meet weekly with HR Corporate to become fully trained and educated on the Clinical Solutions Employee Handbook for all employee policies and procedures.
- Follow policies and procedures in the Clinical Solutions Employee Handbook, Safety Manual, and fulfillment procedures.
- Complete special projects and other duties as assigned.
