For our experienced Lead Sales role, we are looking for professionals who have worked for kitchen and/or closet companies, preferably Italian or German brands with a minimum of 5 years of experience. The Lead Sales/Designer is responsible for sales of closets, kitchens and bathrooms. This position is responsible for building relationships with designers and architects, determining their needs, creating sales strategies, designing the projects, coordinating with factory, preparing, reviewing and revising shop drawings, closing sales and follow up.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Prospection, Sales Service and Pre-Design:
· Welcome and attend all walk-in and visiting clients
· Activate the portfolio of designers by visiting them, preparing lunch & meetings, bringing them to the showroom
· Register client’s information on the Company software
· Determine client needs
· Get the client floor plan
· Prepare a hand-draw design based on Client’s needs
Design:
· Verify the measurements on floor plan and make sure they are correct
· Develop the project by doing the drawings and elevations in the Company software
· Ensure any customization requests are possible
· Send project with drawings and elevations for Proposal to be drafted
Proposal:
· Verify that rendering matches with notes
· Verify that pricing and conversion rates are accurate
· Prepare final Proposal using price modeling in Excel or/and Company software
· Review proposal with Sales Manager for approval
· Create a strategy to present the Proposal to the client
· Create a presentation and finalize Proposal package for client
Presentation:
· Schedule and present Proposal to client
· Gather any feedback or concerns from client on design, space planning, finishes and pricing
Follow-Up:
· Based on client’s feedback, request any necessary changes to Proposal and forward to Drafter for Revision
Closing:
· Explain the entire process to the client all the way through to installation
· Complete the Financial Protocol checklist and obtain client signature on Contract
SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS*
· Minimum AA degree in INTERIOR DESIGN or equivalent from a technical school
· Minimum 3 years’ experience in INTERIOR DESIGNS, ergonomics, constructions or related field with proven track record in Sales
. Ability on measure conversion (international standard).
· Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from clients
· Ability to calculate discounts, proportions, percentages and dimensions
· Ability to define problems and determine solutions
· Ability to interpret technical information in diagram form
· Proficient with MS office suite, internet software and Autocad
· Ability to effectively multitask and handle several projects at one time
· Ability to hand draw sketches in front of client
· Excellent communication skills and a team player
· Ability to build relationships based on trust and communication
· Detail oriented
· BILINGUAL ENGLISH / SPANISH REQUIRED.
· Portuguese is a plus
