Project Governance:
Establish and maintain project governance frameworks, policies, and procedures.
Define project roles and responsibilities, ensuring clarity and accountability.
Facilitate regular project governance meetings to review progress, resolve issues, and make strategic decisions.
Project Controls:
Develop and implement project control mechanisms to monitor and track project performance against predefined metrics and targets.
Conduct regular project reviews to assess adherence to schedule, budget, quality standards, and scope.
Identify deviations from plan and implement corrective actions as necessary to keep projects on track.
Training Project Managers:
Design and deliver training programs for project managers and project teams to enhance their project management skills and competencies.
Provide coaching and mentorship to project managers, offering guidance on best practices, methodologies, and tools.
Risk Assessment:
Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify potential threats and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle.
Develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans to minimize the impact of identified risks.
Monitor and review risk registers regularly, updating risk profiles as project conditions evolve.
Lessons Learned Workshops:
Facilitate lessons learned workshops at key project milestones to capture insights, successes, challenges, and best practices.
Analyze lessons learned data to identify recurring issues and areas for improvement.
Develop action plans based on lessons learned to enhance future project outcomes.
Operations Handover:
Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to facilitate the seamless transition of project deliverables to operational teams.
Ensure all necessary documentation, training materials, and support systems are in place for the successful handover of project outputs.
Provide ongoing support to operational teams during the transition period to address any issues or concerns that may arise.
Project Closeout:
Coordinate the smooth and efficient closure of projects, ensuring all deliverables are met and stakeholder expectations are fulfilled.
Conduct formal project reviews to assess project performance and gather feedback from stakeholders.
Prepare comprehensive project closure reports, documenting achievements, challenges, and recommendations for future projects.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in project management, architecture, business administration, engineering, or a related field.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent preferred.
LEED experience preferred.
Proven experience in project management, with a focus on project governance, controls, and knowledge management.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex situations and make data-driven decisions.
Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency in project management software and tools.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams.
