Canididants must hold a Class A general contractors license in the City of Denver.
We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee the day-to-day operations of a construction project. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the project is completed safely, on schedule, and within budget. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned construction professional to utilize their skills in a challenging and rewarding environment.
**Duties**
- Manage the construction site, ensuring that all activities are carried out in accordance with the project plan, budget, and safety regulations.
- Conduct site inspections to identify potential issues and implement corrective measures to maintain quality standards.
- Coordinate and manage the activities of subcontractors, suppliers, and construction teams.
- Utilize construction management software to track progress, manage budgets, and plan for future projects.
- Collaborate with the project team to develop and implement effective construction estimating and bidding strategies.
- Oversee the procurement and delivery of materials and equipment, ensuring that all items are delivered on time and in the correct quantities.
- Implement quality control measures to ensure that the project meets the required standards.
- Develop and maintain accurate and detailed records of project progress, including timelines, budgets, and performance metrics.
- Ensure that all construction activities are conducted in compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Work closely with the project manager to ensure that the project stays on track and that any issues or concerns are addressed promptly.
**Experience**
- Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of construction management software and heavy bid software.
- Experience with construction estimating and budgeting.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and teams.
- Experience with quality control processes and procedures.
- Familiarity with construction site safety regulations and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; construction management degree or certification preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $98,891.00 - $150,000.00 per year
