Domningue and Co. is seeking a dedicated and skilled Purchasing and Logistics Manager to join our vibrant team. This role requires a proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and excels at connecting various teams within the company. You will manage our purchasing and logistics operations, working closely with our European-based team to ensure seamless coordination across sales, inventory, customs, and vendor relations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage purchasing activities for high-end building materials, including stone and flooring, paint and plaster.
- Tracking and placing special orders.
- Oversee inventory tracking, SKUs, and vendor management.
- Place and track both regular and special orders, ensuring timely delivery and accurate inventory levels.
- Coordinate logistics, including translations and delivery schedules.
- Connect and communicate effectively with sales, inventory, customs brokers, and purchasing teams.
- Utilize strong math skills for take-offs and other purchasing-related calculations.
- Maintain proficiency in Excel and other inventory management tools.
Qualifications:
- A college degree in a relevant field or equivalent relevant experience.
- Experience in purchasing and logistics.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and inventory tracking systems.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Background in building material purchasing, particularly stone and flooring, is highly desirable.
- Ability to manage delivery schedules and translations.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proactive mindset, always a step ahead in connecting teams.
