Full Job Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Teach knowledge and skills in Spanish, levels I-III for high school students
- Promote critical and creative thinking and analysis in all related subject areas
- Promote a classroom environment that is safe and conducive to individualized and small group instruction and student learning
- Develop lesson plans and instructional materials for subject areas, and translate lesson plans into learning experiences to develop pertinent sequential assignments, challenge students, and best utilize the available time for instruction
- Follow IEP accommodations and communicate with SpEd teachers as needed
- Post grades and comments in Infinite Campus in a timely manner
- Encourage parental involvement in students' education and ensures effective communication with students and parents
- Ensure that students conduct conforms to the school's standards; establish and maintain standards of student behavior needed to achieve a functional learning atmosphere in the classroom
- Attend professional development and other duties as assigned
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk or sit. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Pay: $22,000.00 - $25,000.00 per year
