Summary/Objective
The Automotive Claims Manager will oversee and manage the FSA-established process of damage claims service to customers’ vehicles to ensure that the process is handled efficiently, accurately, and in a manner that protects the interests of the company while also providing excellent satisfactory customer service. The Automotive Claims Manager serves as a liaison between customers, adjusters, service providers, and other parties who may be involved in a claim or an incident related to it.
Essential Functions:
· Investigate, evaluate, and determine the validity of claims.
· Negotiate damage claims of customers in situations where company liability has been established.
· Ensure that each claim is handled fairly and in accordance with company policy.
· Confer with Vice President, Risk Management Safety and Loss Prevention, and legal counsel to defend against claims that may be fraudulent
· Perform continuous claim audits and report claim trends.
· Prepare reports on effectiveness of established prevention measures with recommendations for improvements.
· Oversee record keeping of claims handling and settlements.
· Review and update claims reporting forms as necessary.
· Train managers and employees in handling various types of claims or claim-related situations.
· Teach employees about safety procedures, equipment maintenance, etc.
· Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Business Management, Accounting or related field preferred.
· Minimum of five years of experience in retail risk management, loss prevention, security, or automotive aftermarket management required.
Physical Demands/Work Environment:
· Must be able to access all company’s properties to inspect security measures.
· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
· Ability to travel, on short notice, with overnight stays.
· Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
