1. Compose or transcribe correspondence, bulletins, and memorandums from rough drafts;
2. Prepare communications using various types of office equipmen;
3. Use appropriate software to maintain student records through TnPulse.
4. Maintain the required student records;
5. Receive and route incoming calls;
6. Greet and direct visitors;
7. Check the mailbox regularly throughout the day;
8. Send Special Education records to outside agencies with appropriate releases;
9. Confirm agency receipt of faxes and upload into TnPulse;
10. Send out any certified letters and/or correspondence from SPED office;
11. Schedule meetings, set appointments, and maintain calendars;
12. Copying and distributing procedural safeguards and any other teacher required materials;
13. Purge census records and student records as directed - scan old records into TnPulse;
14. Maintain ChildFind brochures at board and throughout the community;
15. Perform other duties as deemed necessary by the Special Education Supervisor.
