Landscape Foreman
Qualifications:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Landscape Construction Foreman who can efficiently and proficiently operate various equipment and perform a range of landscaping tasks. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- Proficiency in operating the following equipment: Skid steer, Mini excavator
- Exceptional ability to perform common daily tasks such as:
- Spreading topsoil, rock, bark
- Installing block, rock, and wood retaining walls
- Planting trees and shrubs
- Installing concrete and patio paver walkways and patios
- Constructing wood, chain link, and metal fencing
- Constructing wood and composite decking
Responsibilities:
As a Landscape Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing and executing all facets of landscaping construction on various projects, including high-end residential projects and those for federal, state, municipal, and school districts. Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Leading a team of landscapers and laborers to ensure efficient and high-quality workmanship
- Reading and interpreting landscaping blueprints and plans
- Coordinating with project managers and clients to meet project requirements and deadlines
- Maintaining a safe and organized work environment
- Training and mentoring team members to enhance skills and productivity
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a landscape foreman or similar role
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Attention to detail and quality craftsmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Compensation:
Wage is dependent on experience (DOE).
