Responsible for performing customer support activities, which involve the installation of communications systems, routers, Armis, PA-220, iDRAC, Internet services, Intercom Systems, and networking applications, on land rigs.
Must be well-organized person with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Must be available 24/7 when on shift.
Up to 100% of time spent traveling to various locations.
Must be able to take job ownership throughout completion which includes, time sheets, Inventory Documentation, and Field Documentation.
Providing technical support and resources to ensure delivery of service.
Communicate with Rig Managers and Electricians on the installation schedule, scope of work, and job progress.
Assist Rig Electricians during the installation, and commissioning of rig network systems.
Complete all required paperwork accurately, and legibly and obtain proper approvals from job site location management.
Comply with all safety requirements implemented by employer, customers, facility owners, or vendors involved in the employee's daily tasks, including but not limited to, PEC/ISN, H2S, Lock Out/Tag Out, First Aid/CPR, Lifting, Fall Protection, etc.
Ability to work to meet both customer and company demands within a short time frame.
Experience in proper usage of a variety of hand tools and wiring equipment.
3+ years of previous experience in telecommunications, wireless, basic internet industry, and/or electrical, and telephone utilities.
This position will serve as a 1099 contractor
