Chess-Ed is interviewing and hiring chess instructors to teach at various elementary schools for the 2024-2025 school year in Chicago, Illinois and throughout the suburbs. The applicant will be required to get a background check. *Must be willing to travel 100% to teach at various locations. Wage range $45-$75 per school taught. Positions available throughout the day and for 1 day or all 5 days. Weekend opportunities may be available.
Immediate openings for instructors that have taught beginning-novice, continuing-intermediate, and/or advanced school students. This position is for in-person classes. Please do not apply if you are not available for in-person and available to work in Chicago/surrounding suburbs.** We may offer remote work as needed. We do not offer relocation-MUST ALREADY LIVE IN CHICAGO OR SURROUNDING AREA.
Ideal candidate for group chess lessons in the North Shore area of Chicago and possess teaching and basic chess technical knowledge.
Need a car and cell. Public transportation may work out for some schools.
