Title: Product Manager – Boom Trucks & Sign Cranes
Reporting Relationship: The position will report to Scott Wilson and Owners
Job Duties and Required Deliverables:
To support the company and its salespersons in increasing the total number of units sold annually out of all locations.
Provide detailed plans that show previous sales:
Equipment Type, Location Built, Locations Sold, Profit Percentages
Provide a plan with sales goals for each Crane-Works location as listed above for 3rd-4th QTR 2024 and 1st, 2nd QTR 2025
This position will work with sales management and company ownership to develop sales strategies and to support the sales team in maintaining, developing, and expanding our current customer base for articulating cranes and truck mounted forklifts.
Develop a sales strategy that will detail out formal plans that can be tracked and measured for results.
What is the current market space results?
What markets will be targeted and why.
What will be the sales strategy be to acquire these markets?
How will those results be tracked for results and performance?
Plans, documents, tracking of proper paperwork required by the employee and other salesman.
Additional job duties will include inventory planning.
Develop tools and documents to perform this required job duty.
Develop plans that will provide reasonable understanding of cranes and trucks that will be needed to order based on:
Previous Sales, Documented customer interests, Sales Staff commitment to sell, Market Research from EDA, Other Dealers, Customers, etc.
Supporting each sales rep insofar as helping with quotes, specifications, customer visits, product education and in-servicing.
Develop tools and documents to perform this required job duty.
Build cost worksheets for most common sales of cranes requested over the past four years,
Provide engineering drawings and plans for previously created build,
Create a ROI for what is needed to support engineering and planning for builds
