EAC is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Member Services Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a fitness setting and possess strong administrative skills. As the MSM, you will be responsible for overseeing the front desk operations, managing appointments, and providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
-· Coordinate front desk schedule: Ensure all shifts are covered and provide outreach options for all staff so conflicts can be resolved
· Greet members and guests upon arrival and assist with check-in
· Manage member check-ins and monitor gym access
. Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries and direct calls to managerial staff
· Monitor shake bar and conduct all ordering of materials on a weekly basis
· Ensure that laundry/towel service is ongoing throughout shift so member experience is satisfactory
· Assist in membership sign-ups, cancellations, and updating member account information
· Provide information regarding classes, services, and overall programs across the gym
· Handle all point-of-sale transactions and process payments as needed
· Conduct ‘banking’ tasks – this includes but is not limited to, daily cash reports, point of sale reports, and assisting in bank deposit for the week.
· Assist with Gym tours for potential members and guests
· Help resolve member issues in a professional and timely manner
· Provide training/on-boarding assistance to new front desk staff members
· Perform other administrative tasks as assigned by management
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a fitness setting is helpful but not required
- Proficient in computerized systems for office management
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Experience in event planning is a plus
- Ability to manage calendars effectively
- Skilled in data entry and order processing
- Familiarity with phone systems and call handling procedures
- Excellent administrative capabilities
