We're looking for people who care about people. As an Occupational Therapist at Elim, you’ll be required to:
- Assess and evaluate the student population; implement and interpret diagnostic test materials; and complete paperwork requirements for initial evaluations, annual reviews, and three year re-evaluations.
- Develop and implement appropriate occupational therapy goals for assigned students in the School Program in collaboration with the IEP team. Present plans at IEP meetings utilizing Easy IEP when necessary.
- Provide direct treatment in a one-on-one and group setting and maintain daily notes on student progress toward IEP goals.
- Frequently monitor sensory programs utilized in the classroom and consult with teachers on best programming for students.
- Assist in teaching and modeling for staff appropriate sensory integration techniques and proactive strategies to meet students’ sensory needs

Monday - Friday 8:15 am - 3:15 pm
Includes a 6 week extended school year

- Competitive starting range of $74,000 (more with experience and education)

Education, Licenses & Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy - Master's preferred
- IL State License in Occupational Therapy
