Position Overview:
We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, with a strong understanding of the insurance industry and a passion for driving growth and building relationships with insurance agencies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Execution: Actively engage in direct sales activities, from prospecting to closing deals, ensuring targets are met or exceeded.
- Customer Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify new opportunities and strategies.
- Sales Strategy: Contribute to the development and implementation of effective sales strategies to drive business growth.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, customer service, and product teams to ensure a seamless customer experience and align sales efforts with company objectives.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate sales records and prepare regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and performance metrics.
Required Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in sales, preferably in the insurance or InsurTech industry. Experience selling solutions or technology to insurance agencies is preferred.
- Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
- Ability to think strategically about market opportunities and develop plans to capitalize on them.
- Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools.
