Job Title: Receiving Clerk
Reports To: Warehouse Team Leader
Summary: The Receiving Clerk is responsible for the accurate entry of materials and goods received into inventory. The ideal person will be informed and organized in documentation of transactions and thrives as a materials coordinator (Shipping, damaged goods, returns)
Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Responsible for off-loading deliveries and checking incoming shipments for quantities delivered.
2. Inspects for apparent damage to outer container and notes irregularities on carrier’s bill of lading.
3. Responsible for taking inventory on shipments and entering information into a database.
4. Prepares transition assets and verify freight bills or packing slips, reconcile shipping reports, update records and process information into the asset database
5. Manually counts existing inventory and will perform cycle counts on stock materials
6. Assists with pulling materials for customer work orders, machine orders, and miscellaneous requirements for shipment to customer
7. Physically receives materials and puts away on appropriate shelves.
8. Auditing packing slips for missing parts.
9. Responsible for all returns, wrong parts and replacements.
10. Delivers incoming supplies to areas of the warehouse, as needed
11. Changes cardboard baler on a regular basis
12. May require lifting 10-100 lbs. and pushing/pulling of pallet jacks and lifts

High School Diploma and two or more years’ experience or equivalent.
