We are looking for a talented and experienced Branch manager. The candidate will assign and direct all work performed and supervise all areas of operation in a new branch location at La Quinta. The candidate will assist with hiring and training of new staff, manage staff, foster a positive environment, embrace and role model First Imperial Credit Union Culture, ensure customer satisfaction and proper branch operation. Credit Union Headquarters are in Imperial County and will be required to travel for meetings and training as required. The successful candidate will have a hands-on approach and will be committed to the expansion and success of the business by implementing strategies that increase productivity and enable sales targets achievement. The candidate is expected to conduct business development calls to prospects, be involved in local chambers of commerce and community events to represent the Credit Union.
Essential Functions
- Assumes responsibility for the development and implementation of effective department planning.
- Effectively oversees assigned department leaders and personnel ensuring optimal performance.
- Develop and implement branch marketing goals
- Develop and promote departmental teamwork
- Bring out the best of branch’s personnel by providing training, coaching, development and motivation
- Locate areas of improvement and propose corrective actions that meet challenges and leverage growth opportunities
- Share knowledge with other branches and headquarters on effective practices, competitive intelligence, business opportunities and needs
- Address customer and employee satisfaction issues promptly
- Adhere to high ethical standards, and comply with all regulations/applicable laws
- Network to improve the presence and reputation of the branch and company
Skills
- Proven branch management experience, as a bank manager or similar role
- Sufficient knowledge of modern management techniques and best practices
- Ability to meet sales targets and production goals
- Familiarity with industry’s rules and regulations
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong Supervisory and leadership skills, strong analytical skills, good organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to deal with very difficult concepts and complex variables
- College degree in Business Administration or related field, minimum of five years' experience in a supervisory experience in a branch operation setting.
Compensation and Benefits:
Pay: $67,377.00 - $90,445.00 per year
The base salary represents FICU hiring range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as, skills, experience, and qualification for the role.
Base salary is one component of FICU total compensation package for employees, which may include performance-based incentives, as well as other perks and rewards. FICU also offers health insurance, accident, life insurance and retirement saving plan.
