This position will be located in one of the following locations: Illinois, Kansas, Texas or Oklahoma.
Position Summary:
Under the direction of the Project Manager, the Field Engineer is responsible for the Quality Control on renewable energy projects. They will participate in the conceptual development of a construction project and oversee its Quality Control, organization, scheduling, and implementation while working alongside the Site Superintendent.
Essential Functions:

· Reports to Project Engineer or Project Manager; coordinates all day-to-day activities with
Superintendent.
· Support best-in-class safety as measured by EMR, TRIR and property/materials incidents.
· Client/Subcontractor relationships.
· Assist PE in managing the on-site material & tooling inventory; if there is no PE onsite, this is the responsibility of the FE.
· Support orientations, onboarding, and training.
· Assist PE in managing site quality and recording; if there is no PE onsite, this is the
responsibility of the FE.
· Assist with contract compliance.
· Assist with short- and long-term scheduling.
· Provide crews with most up to date work instructions, prints, and specs.
· Assist with training and developing employee depth for continuous growth.
· Manage admin duties, and GIS support.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position that requires more than 40 hours a week. A typical work week schedule would include twelve (12) hour days Monday through Friday and eight (8) hours on Saturday with the occasional Sunday, if necessary.
Travel:
100% travel is anticipated for this position. A monthly rotation is allowed and should be scheduled in advance and approved by project Superintendent.
Required Skills, Education or Experience:
· High school diploma or equivalent and 1-2 years of experience minimum.
· Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office; specifically, Word, Excel, and Outlook
Preferred Skills, Education or Experience:
· Electrical background
· Class A CDL driver’s license
· Bachelor's degree or higher in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
· Construction Management or Quality Management experience.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications:
· Must have a valid driver’s license with good driving record.
