Our client is looking for a Bookkeeper/Accountant who can do the day to day accounting .The Bookkeeper/Accountant will perform data entry, accounts receivable, inventory, accounts payable, (possibly) payroll, sales tax filings etc, ensuring all work is properly allocated and completed in a timely and accurate manner.
Requirements:
At a minimum the candidate should have:
- Associate’s Degree in Accounting
- Prior bookkeeping experience required that involves processing of Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Inventory and Payroll transactions
- Strong knowledge of QuickBooks Desktop or QuickBooks Online, or similar ERP experience
- Sales tax and tax matters.
- Experience with Point-of-Sales system and credit card processing.
- Strong technology skills using Microsoft Office products
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Team player with a positive “can-do” approach
- Experience with Journal Entries
Responsibilities:
- Overall day-to-day management of financial reporting accuracy and on-time processing of client information
- Bank and other balance sheet reconciliations
- Payroll reconciliations
- Review and approval of account classifications
- Review of general ledger for any missing transactions and overall accuracy

Pay: $60,000.00 - $72,500.00 per year
