Hey there! The May Institute is on the lookout for an “Assistant Residential Director” to join our team in overseeing three awesome group homes in and around Randolph, Massachusetts. This gig is full-time with evening and weekend shifts in the mix.
What's on the agenda? Making sure our residential programs are top-notch and in line with all the rules and regs, keeping an eye on our Program Coordinators, and being the go-to for all things related to the day-to-day operations. That means everything from keeping our places looking sharp to managing staff schedules and performance. Let's rock this together!
Responsibilities:
- Ensure residential programs meet all regulatory and procedural standards
- Supervise Program Coordinators
- Oversee residential operations related (but not limited) to:
- Maintenance and appearance of assigned programs
- Student census and house ratio information
- Staff scheduling, recruitment, training, and performance management
- Manage vacancies and overtime utilization within assigned residences
- Share on-call responsibilities
- Manage documentation related to licensing
- Participate in team, Quality Improvement, residential operations, facility, and recruitment meetings
- Work collaboratively with multiple teams and families
- Work with teams and supervisors to plan and implement residential events
- Assist in the development and implementation of residential assessments, trainings, and other initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Five years’ experience supervising in an operational capacity
- Proficient computer skills
- Previous supervisory experience in a related field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Valid driver’s license and the ability to independently travel between sites
