We are a small Internet based company that is currently under 10 employees. We specialize in doughnut and bakery related products. You will have your own office/work area. We are located in Catoosa, Oklahoma.
This position is responsible for shipping products to customers by preparing and maintaining records of merchandise shipped. Post weights and prepare goods for final shipment. Performs basic research of product, confirmation and follow-up of products shipped and receiving discrepancies. Unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of received goods and rejects unsatisfactory items. Receives, examines and processes all returns in a timely and efficient manner. Tracks physical inventory, monitors, and orders inventory. Contacts suppliers and customers for status of orders, and returns. Coordinates lead-time turnaround of ordered products and keeps customer notified of status.
We're searching for high school diploma/GED certificate or college degree, Minimum 6 months to 1 year of related shipping, receiving or inventory control experience with references. UPS shipping experience a plus. Quick books experience a plus. Previous work experience in a warehouse environment is preferable. Ability to multi-task assignments that are routine or semi-routine in nature, requiring limited judgment or oversight. Must be willing to work in all areas of the operations, particularly the warehouse. Fork lift experience is not required but would be appreciated.
This is an office position and will not be remote. You will need to be able to work Monday-Friday (8-4) at our offices located in Catoosa, Oklahoma. The position offers a semi-private work space.
Responsibilities
- Answer the occasional incoming calls and emails from our customers.
- Verify and enter shipments received
- Assist customers with returns and exchanges
- Organizing Files
- Prepare and schedule products to ship by U.P.S.
- Place orders with our vendors as they are placed by customers using email and office documents.
- Order Entry using Quick Books
- Build Excel Reports
- Write letters using Word, and attach letters to emails.
Skills
Essential Mental Functions Required; organizational skills and attention to detail, while keeping a clean work area. The ability to learn and differentiate differences between parts and supplies based upon description’s and SKU numbers. Must be able to work as part of a team and able to follow established procedures and instructions on a regular basis.
Essential Physical Functions required; prolonged standing, the ability to lift up 60 pounds repeatedly. (over the course of a 8- hour day) which includes lifting, carrying, bending, kneeling - frequent to continuous ability to work in non-controlled temperature warehouse environment.
Manual dexterity - must have good penmanship and the ability to convey thoughts by writing, use of tape gun, packaging knives and tools, materials and equipment. The use of standard office equipment including but not limited to computer, (Word, Excel, QuickBooks) phone, copier and fax machine
- Ability to use a hand-truck and pallet jack.

Pay: $29,508.02 - $35,124.08 per year
