Scrub Daddy is looking for a full-time Domestic Buyer / Production Analyst to join our Supply Chain Team. This position will be responsible for inventory management, forecasting, purchase order management, production, and supplier relations and will work closely with Operations (warehouse), Sales, and Accounting. A successful candidate must be able to work on-site at our corporate headquarters in Pennsauken, NJ.
Job Duties:
- Manage incoming inventory (International and Domestic) and maintain and replenish appropriate inventory levels in all Distribution Centers.
- Prepare and process purchase orders for raw materials and finished goods.
- Work closely with Demand Planners to monitor the company's demand for products to avoid supply shortages.
- Analyze market and delivery systems to assess present and future material availability.
- Establish and Manage Supplier KPls and Supplier Relations.
- Develop and Manage lead time tracking.
- Provide ongoing analyses in areas such as transportation costs, parts procurement, back orders, or delivery processes.
- Help negotiate contracts, pricing and formulating policies with suppliers.
- Work with Demand Planners to generate forecasts for our Vendors based on demand/market intelligence provided by Sales team.
- Plans, monitors, and coordinates production team activities as they pertain to the strategic planning process and using components.
- Lead weekly teleconferences with key stakeholders.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration or related field OR equivalent work experience required
- 3+ years of Procurement experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with SAP Business One or an equivalent ERP software system
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills
- Experience with international shipping/logistics.
