Full-Time Experienced Registered Veterinary Technician needed:
Fast paced progressive Veterinary day practice looking for an ENTHUSIASTIC experienced RVT with exceptional communication skills to join our AMCC team in the Corona, Southern California area. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about animal medicine, takes pride in their work, and who is looking for a long-term position as a Registered Veterinary Technician. We are a VERY busy full service 4 doctor practice, equipped with modern technologies including ultrasound, digital standard and Dental X-rays, in-house lab, cold laser therapy, Stem cell therapy and HDVI CT. Must be able to care for exotics/avian, small mammals, dogs and cats. We pride ourselves on our belief in the human animal bond and provide compassionate high-quality care. The ideal candidate must be able to do the following:
RVTs are responsible for administering patient care and treatments and assist DVMs in;
~Works collaboratively with Veterinarians to ensure that all animals are being cared for properly and moving through the system efficiently.
~Draw blood / phlebotomy (collects, prepares, and labels samples for laboratory testing, culture, or microscopic examination).
~Perform in-house laboratory tests; on blood, urine and feces, such as urinalysis and blood counts, to assist in diagnosis and treatment of animal health problems.
~Calculate medication: oral and injectable.
~Place IV catheters and urinary catheters
~Perform IM, IV, SQ injections.
~Digital Radiology / Dental Radiology (knowledge of proper positioning and techniques).
~Surgical technician capable of; surgical write ups, surgical preparations, induction, anesthesia monitoring and patient recovery.
~Proper animal handling and restraint (caution pets, avian and exotic).
~Administer emergency first aid, such as performing emergency resuscitation or other life-saving procedures.
~Cleans and sterilizes instruments, equipment, and materials.
~Pharmacy; filling prescriptions, measuring medications and labeling containers.
~Must be able to lift 50 pounds and be well versed in animal restraint.
~Experienced with Covetrus Pulse software preferred.

~A flexible schedule is required, and the candidate selected may be required to work Saturdays and possible overtime.
*All RVT Must be licensed in California and be in good standing with Veterinary Medical Board.
Position starting at 22.00 for entry level RVT depending on the applicant's qualifications and experience. Experienced RVT in good standing starting at $26.00.
Job type: Full-time position with benefits; after 90 day probationary period, a portion of premium for individual Health Insurance, Dental and Vison premium is paid by employer (for full-time employees only). We also offer 401k retirement with a 3% matching after 1 year of employment. Accrued PTO.
