Position Summary
The Inventory Control Coordinator is responsible for maintaining an efficient and organized inventory system. This position involves overseeing the accuracy of stock levels, monitoring inventory movements, and implementing measures to optimize inventory processes. The Inventory Control Coordinator collaborates with various departments to ensure seamless supply chain operations and timely fulfillment of customer orders.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Inventory Management:
- Performing physical counts of raw material and tag controls
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, including regular cycle counts and reconciliation of discrepancies.
- Implement and enforce inventory control procedures to minimize errors and ensure data accuracy.
- Process Purchase Orders and monitor inbound scheduling
- Setup new inventory items in ERP system and new item documentation records Coordinating with other departments (sales and production)
Receiving and Inspecting:
- Oversee the receiving process, ensuring that incoming shipments match purchase orders and are in good condition.
- Conduct quality inspections of received goods and collaborate with procurement teams to address discrepancies.
Order Fulfillment:
- Oversee warehouse and distribution teams to fulfill customer orders accurately and on time.
- Monitor order pick accuracy and address any issues related to order fulfillment.
Production:
- Processing work orders and collaborating with team members to ensure the proper finished goods are assembled with correct BOM
- Monitoring and recording accurate production records
Communication and Collaboration:
- Collaborate with purchasing, logistics, and production teams to optimize inventory levels based on demand forecasts.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders regarding inventory status, potential shortages, and surplus stock.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Generate regular reports on inventory turnover, stock levels, and other key performance indicators.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends, forecast demand, and recommend adjustments to inventory strategies.
Process Improvement:
- Continuously evaluate and improve inventory control processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Implement best practices in inventory management to align with industry standards.
Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies related to inventory management.
- Collaborate with relevant teams to address any compliance issues and implement corrective actions.
- Performing other work-related duties as assigned

- Proven experience in inventory control or related roles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Familiarity with inventory management software and systems.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high data accuracy
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
