About Oddjob Hats
Oddjob Hats is a startup ecommerce company that specializes in the design, development, and sales of high quality hats - and they’re made specially for big head sizes! That’s right, there are actually a lot of of us out there with bigger heads, and Oddjob is THE brand for us.
Our founder Patrick is a 3x founder of e-commerce startups, and has experience scaling companies from the idea stage to 400+ employees. Oddjob Hats is his latest venture - and the company is looking to add to our early-stage team.
About the Role
As an eCommerce Operations Associate, your role is to support the picking and packing operations for the business.
- Shopify order fulfillment: printing packing slips & shipping labels, and packing inventory into boxes for UPS, USPS, and DHL pickup.
Overall, you can think of the role as an opportunity to gain exposure to all of the aspects of an early-stage eCommerce startup - and LEARN a ton of skills along the way.
Who are we looking for?
Oddjob Hats is a team that believes in potential, rather than just experience! We’ve noticed that people that thrive here (and at most startups in general) have a few common traits:
- An innate curiosity, and excitement for continuous learning that drives the need to form and understanding about the why in addition to the what.
- A great attitude and a desire for teamwork - and an appreciation that no task is too big or too small (you will see that is true for the founder also!)
- An interest to learn more about business principles, like how to measure customer happiness, how to drive repeat sales, or how to drive operational efficiency in the warehouse.
- Responsible and dependable - your word is your bond. Oddjob Hats is a high trust, high responsibility environment. That means we all depend on each other to come through - when we commit to something, we expect each other to execute on it!
We believe that this role is a great opportunity for the right person early in their career, with a strong drive to grow onwards and upwards.
