G&A Partners' client is currently seeking a Broadcast Editor to join its team in College Park, GA.
Summary
The Broadcast Editor is primarily responsible for editing sermons/messages, commercials, promos, and graphics and will also edit and produce special elements for the weekly and daily broadcasts for the Changing Your World television broadcast.
Responsibilities:
- Edit television programs incorporating all assigned visual and audio segments

Edit commercials and promotional spots airing within the TV broadcast

Create/Edit broadcast graphics as needed

Confirm that all content/graphics comply with CYW/CDM brand standards
-
Efficiently edit content in a timely manner meeting strict deadlines
-
Incorporate good storytelling techniques
-
Ensure that all technical guidelines are adhered to within the content
-
Manage digital assets in organized manner
-
Communicate effectively with co-workers and outside vendors
-
Remain up to date on new and emerging industry and media trends
-
Maintain stable performance and demeanor when working under pressure
-
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
EDUCATION:
-
BS or BA degree in communication, media and/or film production or related field
-
High School Diploma or GED
EXPERIENCE:
-
5+ years’ experience of professional video editing for documentary, commercial, or educational content
-
Strong understanding of editing workflows and file structure
-
In depth understanding of required broadcast standards
-
Proficient in Final Cut Pro, Premiere, or Avid
-
Detail oriented with the ability to prioritize
-
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-
Ability to work well under pressure
