Job Title: Junior Project Manager
Department: IT
Reports To: PM Team Lead
Position location: This is a limited remote position. In order to be considered for this position, you MUST live in one of the following States, MO, KS, or OK
Summary The Junior Project Manager assists with the planning, execution, monitoring, reporting, and finalizing of projects, coordinates and communicates with team members and third-party contractors, generates and organizes project collateral, and works with Project Owners, Sponsors and Project Managers to organize Caliber’s software release schedule.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Planning and Execution
- Monitor and organize the Microsoft Azure DevOps (ADO) board for daily use.
- Review project, milestone, and activity status to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Work with Business and IT teams to ensure work priorities are current and correct.
- Work with Project Managers and Project Owners to monitor and document project status and reporting.
- Generate and organize project collateral in ADO and Confluence.
- Work with Project Managers, Project Owners, and QA to support the IT release schedule.
Communication & Relationship Management
- Assist with managing and facilitating project communication and status.
- Assist with managing ticket status, prioritization, and scheduling.
- Reiterate, support, communicate, project objectives.
- Partner on the removal of project impediments.
Oversite and Governance
- Monitor project health and communicate accomplishments.
- Assist with project issue resolution.
- Champion the delivery process through words and actions.
- Multitask and manage multiple workstreams concurrently.
- Support project governance best practices and ensure that projects are compliant with those processes.

Familiarity with:
- Scrum Boards/Tools
- Projects compliance and governance processes.
- Work as an Agile / SCRUM / KANBAN Subject Matter consultant.
- Manage and facilitate project communication and status dashboarding.
- Demonstrate the ability to breakdown and organize information.
- Adaptability to a changing environment, and relationship building.
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university in management-related field or equivalent work experience. Knowledge of IT and/or the financial industry a plus. A minimum of five years of practical work experience with some management or leadership responsibilities preferred.

This is a limited remote position. Candidates MUST reside in KS, MO, or OK in order to be considered. No exceptions.
